Field Marshall Mike Raine in front of the prizes table (which included Gogarth North and Parisella’s Cave guides, plus the Main Cliff posters from Ground Up) Photo: Si Panton

This year’s Tremadog clean up festival, held over the weekend of 18th – 19th April, was blessed with fine sunny weather and a strong turn out of keen helpers. Field Marshall Mike Raine (aka: BMC Cymru chairman) did a sterling job rallying the troops and coordinating the spring clean.

With the combination of the route gardening and the recent path work, Craig Bwlch y Moch looks destined to return to its former popular state. The crag is owned by the BMC and the work has been carried out in consultation with the Countryside Council for Wales.

Go to the Tremadog wiki gallery to see a selection of images from this year’s event. You can also view details of routes cleaned during the festival.

The festival was sponsored by a number of local businesses such as Ground Up, V12 Outdoor, Joe Brown, DMM, Pete’s Eats, Eric’s Cafe and the BMC and CC.
