Mike Raine’s Tremadog clean up campaign continues this year with another festival occurring over the weekend of 25th, 26th & 27th April. Base camp as usual will be Eric’s Café below Craig Bwlch y Moch.
The idea is to give the crag a spring clean, pruning back the vegetation where previously popular routes have become overgrown. If you want to get involved all you have to do is turn up with some secateurs, or a pruning saw and a brush; pick a suitable route and get to it. All comers are welcome, whatever your grade or experience, just get down their and get involved.
There will be a Grand Prize Raffle (including some copies of North Wales Rock from Ground Up, and various prizes from V12 Outdoor, DMM, Joe Brown's and Pete's Eats) free camping or bunkhouse accommodation, free local beer, the Art of the Slate presentation (previously shown at LLAMFF) and a late bonfire.
If you need to know any more, then contact the team on bmccymruwales@live.co.uk, or via Martin Kocsis at the BMC: 0161 438 3336 or martin@thebmc.co.uk
The Tremadog wiki has details of routes which have been cleaned during the recent campaign.
