Llandudno limestone fans should take note of an ongoing access issue. A rock fall between the Cutaway and the Norman Wisdom’s roof area has caused a closure of the Marine Drive. Clearing work is due to start on Monday 1st October and is anticipated to take a week to complete. All of the crags stretching around Marine Drive from Parisella’s Cave to the summit zig-zag road are out of bounds. This includes LPT and Pigeon’s Cave as well.

It is still possible to access the last section of the Marine Drive via the zig-zags coming down from the top of the Orme. See the link below for updates on the BMC website.

STOP PRESS (Saturday 6th Oct): The access restriction has been lifted. The Marine Drive is once again open for business!
