There has been something of a revolution of late in the availability of online information for climbing areas in North Wales. Firstly the Gogarth wiki arrived, and now we have one for the Slate and one for Tremadog.

These dynamic databases allow all climbers to keep abreast of developments at the crag, and to contribute feedback and first hand information. The Gogarth wiki is heading towards being a comprehensive information source, with topos and descriptions of all routes. The Slate wiki is essentially the ‘Safe Slate’ list that appeared on forthcoming guidebook author, Mark Reeves’ website, whilst the Tremadog wiki gives information on the clean up campaign orchestrated by Mike Raine.

To view each of the wikis click on the following titles:

Gogarth

Tremadog

Slate

Do check them out and contribute if you can.
